An NFT is a digital property deed certified by a community of computers on a blockchain such as Ethereum, Polygon or Flow. An NFT is much more valuable than a digital object, due to its rarity and the certification of its creator. Metaverses are digital universes that combine and will combine immersive realities and next-generation interactions. Web 3? It's a new-generation web, a web that will combine Metaverses, NFTs, new web3 technologies and probably new governance to enable new uses that have yet to be invented. While some people are redoubling their efforts to democratize what's behind these words, which are a bit barbaric for the average person, others have quickly lost us with a host of details, variant explanations and geek-speak, but sometimes so abstruse that we quickly tell ourselves that NFTs, web 3 and Metaverses are probably going to take a massive nosedive, but that we still have a little time before they really become part of our everyday lives. Too complicated, too technical, too far removed from our current urgent needs? Pierre-Philippe Corneraie, PodcastHost of Le digital pour tous, interviewed Sandrine Decorde, co-founder of Artcare.
